PhrogPhlyer
That's one way to "cool your jets." Looked great transitioning into the sunlight. Always Aviate, then Navigate, then Communicate. And never be low on Fuel, Altitude, Airspeed, or Ideas. Laptop, Intel Core i7 CPU 1.80GHz 2.30 GHz, 8GB RAM, 64-bit, NVIDIA GeoForce MX 130, Extra large coffee-black. BillD22
Thanks, Phrog. FS2020 has done a reasonably decent job displaying most atmospheric effects including weather and lighting. Still, so far (IMHO) no flight sim has ever accurately depicted convective weather. That and ATC remain big areas for improvement.

Other than some orographic uplifting used for glider flying, it would be very difficult within a sim. I think a true representation of low level wind sheer and microburst activity near an airfield would be add an increased level of reality into flight planning and also up to the minute weather/wind changes.
