Michael asked for Bonanza's, and I happen to have painted a few (~35). Here's a small selection

I haven't gotten round to painting the MSFS version yet, maybe in the future?

Beautiful JK!! Thanks so much! They, especially 3677, remind me of some great times we had before Chuck was Killed In Action over Vietnam.

Chuck's parents, who weren't pilots, had given him the plane for a college graduation present. So responded to my sympathy card with an offer to sell it to me at a price way under market value.. I hated that I had to miss his military funeral, but I was still deployed as he would have been were he not shot.

A few months later I was sent back to the states wounded, before the end of my deployment as well. The same thing happened during my second deployment too. But obviously I survived.

The plane was new when given to Chuck and we deployed just a few months later. So it had very low hours. But as a very junior Marine, there was no way I could even dream of buying it!

I hope whoever bought it was blessed with a lot longer period of ownership than Chuck had!

Michael

Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.
