Wouldn't it be nice if, when starting the sim, a little text said " Starting Flight Simulator" or something similar. When I start it there nothing for about 40 seconds making me think it hasn't started. Should be a doddle to implement.

I agree it would be nice, however, I suspect that is FAR down the list of things to implement :)

If you get FSUIPC7, looks to use the same splash screen as Tims link, displaying as soon as you click the FSUIPC7 icon and also by-passes the front end videos.

I just got this splash screen installed, edited its batch file to slightly change the splash screen text appearance and to use the -Faststart option, and configured MSFS Addons Linker to start MSFS with it.

 

A definite improvement in the MSFS start up!
