BushPilot
The term ARROW has Radio Station License! My question is does an FCC GROL - General radiotelephone operator license can take place of a Radio Station License internationally? I understand in the US you don't really need one! lnuss
Not of the station license, only of your personal Restricted license for international. It's been a lot of years ago, but I seem to recall that I didn't need to get the Restricted until my 2nd class expired and I had to apply for the Restricted. Later they dropped the requirement domestically. But the R in ARROW refers to the aircraft radio license, which must be on board, as well as your personal one. Larry N.
