hsv
Hi all I want to set up a custom view for the cockpit of my helicopter. I wont to look out the left side and down to simulate looking at a under slug load. I moved my eye point to the view I want and saved the flight. I want to be able to replace the default views so when I cycle through the views I have just the virtual cockpit and my custom view. Question is When I set up the view I want, do I save this is a new saved flight or over wright the current flight with the new view The coordinates of the new view where are the stored and where to I copy and paste when so I only have my new custom view and virtual cockpit Regards Rhys
f16jockey_2
Have a look at this (payware) utility: https://flyawaysimulation.com/news/4915/#:~:text=CameraPosition%20X%20is%20a%20rather,just%20take%20control%20in%20general. Wim
lnuss
I know nothing about the link above, but without add-ons you'll need the SDK and you can create a new camera view, either for every aircraft or just for an individual aircraft. In the aircraft.cfg file, you'll see entries such as: [CameraDefinition.0] Title = "Right Wing" Guid = {C690EAFD-223A-42d0-99E0-681ADF93BB59} Description = View from the right wing looking at the cockpit Origin = Center SnapPbhAdjust = Swivel SnapPbhReturn = FALSE PanPbhAdjust = Swivel PanPbhReturn = FALSE Track = None ShowAxis = FALSE AllowZoom = TRUE InitialZoom = 1.0 ShowWeather = Yes InitialXyz = 11.5, 0.7, -0.2 InitialPbh = 5, 0, 275 XyzAdjust = TRUE Category=Aircraft ClipMode=Minimum which define specific views (note the Description line). There can also be similar segments in the cameras.cfg file which, in my FSX, is located in C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX. How to do this is in the SDK. Larry N.
