As I already said, glorious! However the old explorer in me would like to sim it myself! Where exactly is this in Australia? Provence, area, GPS date, etc. would sure be appreciated!!

During the RW time I spent there my touring was limited to the coastal cities. I passed up a job offer to help with railroad building across the continent in the early 1970s. So I never went back.

Since I've only seen the coastal venues, I'd love to do a virtual tour inland as well.

@rupert, the Rock is a hand-crafted object in the Sim, smack bang in the middle of Oz. Sticks out on the World Map in the Sim. Then follow the roads north to Darwin, or the roads south to Adelaide! Cheers.

PS: And if you want a nice inland flight plan across Australia, with history, maps etc. check this out:

OK I remember now Ayers Rock near YAYE. I've flown there years ago in more than one different sim. I also forgot how hot it is that far North this time of the year!:eek:

When I go back down and have a look around, I'll probably change the date to much closer to their winter. ;)
