Rupert
Great plane and scenery JK! But then, for you that seems to be the norm. Michael Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.
azzaro
You could have stopped at the plane. Painting the landscape was a little unnecessary. :p Kudos... again -- Bob [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] i7-7700 3.6GHz / GTX1660 6GB / 32GB RAM / 49" Samsung CHG90 / WIN10

Rupert
As I already said, glorious! However the old explorer in me would like to sim it myself! Where exactly is this in Australia? Provence, area, GPS date, etc. would sure be appreciated!! During the RW time I spent there my touring was limited to the coastal cities. I passed up a job offer to help with railroad building across the continent in the early 1970s. So I never went back. Since I've only seen the coastal venues, I'd love to do a virtual tour inland as well. Michael Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow. caphavoc
Uluru ... the Red Center ... Ayers Rock ... takes ya pick ;) A (long) stone's throw from where I was raised as a nipper :) Regards, Dorian Edited February 5, 2022 by caphavoc
FrankPilot
@rupert, the Rock is a hand-crafted object in the Sim, smack bang in the middle of Oz. Sticks out on the World Map in the Sim. Then follow the roads north to Darwin, or the roads south to Adelaide! Cheers. PS: And if you want a nice inland flight plan across Australia, with history, maps etc. check this out: Edited February 7, 2022 by FrankPilot Frank’s MS Flight Sim https://youtube.com/channel/UCqCzobOlQLeGycCFnavVrPg
jankees
And the field I'm landing on is the old Corunna Downs airbase, close to Marble Bar in the NW of Australia, that is finally visible in a sim Slapping paint on flightsim models you'll find all my FSX/P3D repaints here and all my MSFS repaints here. Rupert
Thanks to everyone for the info! Since it's summer down there, this might be a good time for a look-see. ;) Michael Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.
Rupert
OK I remember now Ayers Rock near YAYE. I've flown there years ago in more than one different sim. I also forgot how hot it is that far North this time of the year!:eek: When I go back down and have a look around, I'll probably change the date to much closer to their winter. ;) Michael Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.
