Rupert
It's a cold and dreary snow sky day in Chicago when we ferry hop from ORD to CGX (The old Meigs Field). Frankly it gets me cold all over again just to look at these shots! Air off the lake always feels colder than what the temperature really is! Rupert
All beautiful Michael, great post Sir!:cool::cool: Thanks Jan! It's actually a little more snowy up there than the sim shows. What you see there is about what I'm seeing in Ky. today. And yes, I do have a few oldies in my hanger as well. ;) Michael Edited January 17, 2022 by Rupert Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow. NMLW
Fine shots of the Electra's short hop to Meigs Michael. The addition of snowy weather makes it even more interesting. :) Larry
Macroburst
Great trip Michael. Always a pleasure to see a fine prop & CGX to boot!
Rupert
Thanks everyone! I find I don't have nearly as much time to fly lately. So when I do it's usually fairly short hops. If they ever do another Around The World in Eighty Days event, there's no way I'd have the time to finish it! But then again, we had about a 80% dropout rate on the one I did fly. As to the locations on this hop, sadly Meigs and the Navy Peer are more fond memories than anything else today. Some real estate people call that progress. Michael Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.
