Bush Trips.. where are they in Fs2020?

Recommended Posts

Just downloaded 2 bush trips from Flightsim.to, one called Serengeti, the other Brownsville Imperial. They say after unzipping to put the folders in Community, and they are in community. I fire FS2020, these 2 Bush trips are neither in the Bush Trip section, nor in MIssions , nor in flightplans… nowhere to be found... I am at a loss here… Any help will be appreciated

Happy New Year everyone ;)

In the comments on the Serengeti mission is this:

"MSFS made a small change with the latest version with MSFS. All 3rd-party bush trips can now be found in Activities -> Custom Content. You'll need to scroll all the way to the right of the Activities screen to see that option."

No problem! I don't know if you've already spotted this, but there's a Working Title NXi bush trips mod over at flightsim.to: https://flightsim.to/file/25416/wt-nxi-bushtrips-enabled

This enables the bush trip flight plan on the WT NXi, so that you can fly bush trips on autopilot.

In fact I am more concerned about the proper way to install these Bush Trips.

I just downloaded AlpBushTrip_2Uldy from Flightsim.to

I unzipped it and put the Alpbushtrip folder in Community

I open FS2020, then goto Activities and it is not available there... I don't get it!

Go to Activities, and then Custom Content - they'll all be in there.

In the Alpbushtrip folder there should be a ContentInfo and a Missions folder, a layout.json and manifest.json file and a few other language files.

If there's just one folder inside the Alpbushtrip folder, named Alpine Bush Trip for example, move that folder into your Community folder and delete the empty Alpbushtrip folder.

Only 2 files a .pln and a .flt

That can't be right, I think there are a few files missing.

I've found an Italian Alps Bush Trip at flightsim.to: https://flightsim.to/file/5561/italian-alps-tour-2021 which is in 5 parts, you need to download them all for it to work - is this the one you've downloaded?

No, it is AlpBushTrip_2Uldy from Flightsim.to

But do not worry Tim, I extracted the .flp file and I am happy with it

Thanks for your efforts to help
