Grover2005
I need some advice on monitors/TV for my flight sim, P3d Ver 4.5...I need to replace my old monitor (Is smoke coming out the back bad?) I would really like a larger screen size (Currently 24") and am torn between a 32" monitor and a 40" TV...Just wondering what the resolution would look like...I know a lot of folks use huge screens but I can't afford that and wouldn't have anywhere to put it anyway...Any advice or suggestions would be really appreciated! Thanks a lot! Steve in Kansas 7 Miles NW of KGCK

napamule2
Go to a GoodWill store and get a used monitor (cheap). Just plug it in and turn it on to see if it works as there is usually 'no returns' on electronics. You might be pleased even with a 23 in monitor that has a higher res (2048x1152 -or- 1920x1080) than you would with any size TV. Good luck. Chuck B Napamule i7 2600K @ 3.4 Ghz (Turbo-Boost to 3.877 Ghz), Asus P8H67 Pro, Super Talent 8 Gb DDR3/1333 Dual Channel, XFX Radeon R7-360B 2Gb DDR5, Corsair 650 W PSU, Dell 23 in (2048x1152), Windows7 Pro 64 bit, MS Sidewinder Precision 2 Joy, Logitech K-360 wireless KB & Mouse, Targus PAUK10U USB Keypad for Throttle (F1 to F4)/Spoiler/Tailhook/Wing Fold/Pitch Trim/Parking Brake/Snap to 2D Panel/View Change. Installed on 250 Gb (D:). FS9 and FSX Acceleration (locked at 30 FPS).
