rodrigol
I started experiencing some really crazy taxing after landing with the latest patches. Just as you finish the landing roll, touching the brakes sends the airplane in an unpredicatable direction - with any aircraft I've tried. It is imposible to regain control as if some AI has taken over and assisted taxing and parking have taken over - AFAIK there is no mention of such a feature in any of the patches. Sometimes it seems to want to go the assinged parking/gate but not using the taxiways at all but all over the countryside, through forests and until it stops after it bumbs against a building. It's super frustrating but...but I seem to have found that not including parking or gate in the FP prevents this from happening. Can anyone confirm this behaviour and possible way to avoid it? Thanks, R.
tiger1962
Check the Assistance section for any assistances which may now be switched ON instead of OFF. rodrigol
Check the Assistance section for any assistances which may now be switched ON instead of OFF. Thanks for replying :-) Assisted landing, auto-rudder, etc all turned OFF. It's really as if there was a invisible monkey trying to taxi the plane to parking/gate. davidc2
This behavior happens almost all the time when I land, it's like landing on ice, I immediately go off into a different direction and often end up sideways in the grass Windows 10 Pro, 32 gigs DDR4 RAM, Nvidia GForce RTX 3070, Intel I7 10700 running at 3.8, with Noctua NH-L9x65, Premium Low-Profile CPU Cooler-HP Reverb G2 for Virtual Reality
tiger1962
Which plane or is it all of them? Tim Wright "The older I get, the better I was..." davidc2
Which plane or is it all of them? I will have to test that out Tim, I mostly fly the Piper Arrow by Just Flight and that one for sure is like I am landing on ice! guzler
I've found that the wind appears to force the aircraft in a particular direction even at the lowest speeds. It's only as I start to gain rudder effect at speed does the aircraft become more controllable. Something aint right!
