Do Developers seem to rush more to get products out?

Well,

The reason I have to ask this, is I noticed a new aircraft in the news items today. It said future versions will have a virtual cockpit. Why not release it completed instead of rushing out the door?

I don't know about you all, but I HATE 2D panels.

That being said, does it seem like developers try to "Rush things out" just to get in the business and make a buck? I don't know about you, but I like 100% complete aircraft.

I can see their point of view. Not all simmers need a VC to enjoy the product and the Developer will start a cash flow in for more development. Some simmers will buy the product with the hopes of receiving a free upgrade when the VC is ready. Definitely a "for profit" business.

Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!  ✈️

Actually, the trend is just the opposite: new payware aircraft released with a VC but no 2D panel, which I regret. It's done to save on costs, of course. But I'm just the opposite of the OP, reluctant to buy a VC-only plane unless it's something I consider special, and even then I usually add a suitable 2D wide-screen panel if I can. I don't enjoy "flying" a camera around in VC's, and I am reluctant to wear a camera on my head. :p

You can do just so much more with VCs than a 2d panel. For example, I have flightsim commander. I run it on a networked computer, and when I'm in my velocity I like to sometimes sit in the back as a passenger. I just wish pilot models could have a way of being clicked on and off so that way if you wanted to, it would still look real and have someone flying the plane.

It's fun! Just get up and move around a bit with it, and you'll see how fun it can be. :)
