tiger1962
Went to play MSFS tonight which I have had since release and now it's re-downloading the whole 95GB again! What's the deal with that lol? Oh mate! Sorry to hear about this, but I think I know of one cause which may help you in future: There's an important line at the very end of the Usercfg.opt file, if that line is missing then the sim will ask you to re-install. The Usercfg.opt can be opened with Notepad, and it's in: C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache Scroll down the file to the very end and you should find a line with your installation address, here's mine: InstalledPackagesPath "C:\Users\Tim\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages" Tim Wright "The older I get, the better I was..." Xbox Series X, Asus Prime H510M-K, Intel Core i5-11400F 4.40GHz, 16Gb DDR4 3200, 2TB WD Black NVME SSD, 1TB Samsung SATA SSD NVidia RTX3060 Ti 8Gb, Logitech Flight Yoke System, CH Pro Pedals, Acer K272HL 27", Windows 11 Home x64
