pcohen
Hi everybody. Having just spent the Day Installing MSFS2020 Disks 1 through 10 and following Microsoft Account details to enter the Flight Simulator Activation Code. then Downloading the Software Launcher and Automatically downloading the Content Update and being told "Your good to go" Imagine my surprise to find that Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 is nowhere to be Found on my Computer. Most certainly not in Drive C: nor anywhere to be found in any of the Program Files? This is a strange one, any help or suggestions Please? Many thanks Regards Paul. Windows 10 2020. loki
Hi David, thanks for reply. Unfortunately No WindowsApps listed under C:Program files? Not sure what to do now. thanks Paul. The WindowsApps folder is hidden by default, so won't appear unless you have enabled the display of hidden files and folders. Have you tried searching the Start menu, as suggested in the other thread that was linked?
JohnnyJohnJohn
One thing to be helpful here and remember too; by default you are denied access to the Windows APPS folder. You will want to watch this video to find out how to access it first. Thermaltake Ryzen Gen 9 3900x 12 cores, 4.6 ghz 32 gig of Ram, Liquid Cooled Everything. pcohen
Hi Steve, thanks for reply. Comes up with Microsoft Flight Simulators to Purchase, Flight Simulator on line, Flight Simulator2019 but no reference to Flight Simulator 2020. Think I have also messed up this morning by trying to reinstall but it will not accept product key saying it has already been used. OOOPS!!! thanks Paul. Windows 10 2020. g7rta
If it’s not showing at all then it certainly appears it hasn’t installed, or not correctly at least. I’m pretty sure you can install/uninstall as many times as you want. Maybe logging off from MS Store & logging back in might help? I don’t know the procedure for installing the discs as I went for the download version. One suggestion though.. if you do manage to reinstall, I would set aside a separate folder (or preferable a different drive) and install it there. You can’t change the first bit of the installation but you can tell it where to install most of it. For example, mine is on d://msfs It makes it so much easier to find the files later Hope you manage to sort it and start flying :) Regards Steve Intel I9-13900K - Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX - 64Gb DDR5 5600Mhz - Asus RTX4090 ROG STRIX 24GB 3x 43” Panasonic 4k TVs - Corsair RMx 1200W PSU - 2 x 2TB M.2, 2 x 4TB SATA III and 1 x 4TB M.2 SSDs. I seem to be having problems with the Folder tree on this MSFS, it will Installl disc 1 but does'nt recogonise Disk 2 to load into the same Folder. Also as previously said, Having used the the Activation Code and being told "your good to go" and having Reloaded the game again because MSFS was nowhere to be found on my Computer am now being told Activation code already used. not sure where to go from here.
