stempski
If I'm not mistaken, the developers of this Flight sim are not American. So, they focused on the world, not just USA scenery. I'm sure it will come in time, but for now, enjoy the pyramids, the Taj Mahal, the Eiffel tower and I'm sure many more European landmarks. Eventually, someone will render the American landmarks. BTW, Hoover dam is also very ordinarily depicted. I'm gonna see if I can find Mt. Rushmore tomorrow :) Asus Z590 P, Intel I7-10700K, nVidia RTX 4070, 64gb ram(3200), 2 nvme ssd (2 tb total), Samsung QN90B 43" 4k@120hz, Bose Companion 5 PC speakers, Velocity Flight One
loki
It's a little more complicated than Asobo not being American. They use data from Bing Maps, including the 3D cities from Bing. If you open the Maps app on Windows 10 (might need to be installed), you can get an idea of what has already been modelled. The AI Asobo uses to populate the rest of the world isn't bad at creating models for more common buildings, but isn't so good with more unique ones, like memorials. Places like this will either be updated by Asobo manually modelling it, or the source Bing Maps data will be updated. Or a third party developer will create an add-on.
