A Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress by March 1944 Over Germany

Recommended Posts

Hi!

I'm keeping to add to my WW2 warbirds collection. Another one I couldn't miss. That Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress is closing to the Ruhr area, Germany by March 1944, in early morning

always nice to see a B-17, although these walkway lines seem a bit overdone to me.

If you're still on FSX, try the A2A B-17, well worth the money.

If only they would bring out a P3Dv4 version...

Thanks for your expert's advice jankees! Maybe that's why I instinctively took the pic from afar :pilot:

On the other hand, never bought any payware of any kind since I'm into the Microsoft FS business! That is since 1998! :):) One exception only: I bought once -- I don't exactly remember the version, maybe FS2000 -- a Boeing 737-400 because that was a time there was no much doc on the net, and I needed some details for my website about the procedures :)

in that case, follow my freeware fun series!

Still, the B-17 won't disappoint, and it's on sale...

Any shares at the A2A? :)

Didn't find that 'fun series'

Yes. And that's a Boeing! :):) Made one like a model when a child. Great plane in my courtyard :) Imagine vast expanses to bomb below! :)

I'm also a B-217 fan, such an impressive bird. Nice pic Gerard!:cool::cool:

Likely you meant 217  Yes, that likely was in my opinion, the best WW2 bomber until those which dropped the A bombs

A fine shot of the B-17 on it's mission Gerard.  :)

Thanks Larry. Not sure they were bombing by day but I didn't dare a night shot :)

The textures freeware, not planes?

Nope, the plane as well.

All planes I mentioned in this series are freeware planes

Non , l'avion est gratuit aussi

Tous les avions dans mon series freeware sont gratuits

If any of you fancy ai B-17 go to MIAW for John Youngs package, he has FSX and FS2004 versions, absolutely fantastic aircraft and paints.

Thanks for that link. Personally for my WW2 collection photos, I mostly take the FSX freewares the most available at my Bing search engine :)

Mais bien sûr: http://www.sim-outhouse.com

Hey! I must have been tired at some moment on that forum! :):) I'm registered at the sim-outhouse and I didn't remember they had all that stuff. And even your appropriate textures! :)

I have changed the link, for all, to bring to the home page. Just need to a free registration. Thanks from all the simmers here!
