kalizzi
A few days ago a B-17G crash landed in Connecticut, sadly the accident cost the lives of 7 people, including the pilot Ernest McCauley. My heart goes out to the victims and their families. Wishing the wounded a speedy recovery. I also grief the loss of such a fine machine which is an irreplaceable piece of history. I couldn't find a closer livery to the lost aircraft than the one portrayed here. Best wishes to all. Downwind66
Thanks for posting Khalid, it was a sad event for sure! Heroes from a battle long ago, living out the memories they endurred, may they RIP! Not many of these large beautiful warbirds left, I wish the men who keep their history alive, safety and well being in carrying out their remaining missions! flightsimg
Sad! Looks like there were no known flightsimmers aboard, from what I read in the news Gérard Guichard, Dijon, Burgundy, France. i5 Intel processor, 4 Go of Ram, Nvidia GeForce 920MX, DirectX 12.0, and FSX Gold Edition with SP1, SP2. jankees
a really sad event. I had a recent flight in the Dutch Catalina, just before it went to the Collings Foundation (owners of 909). Seeing these old birds in a museum, and taking a flight with them are two completely different things. I can only hope that this tragedy will not lead to the cancellation of flights with these venerable machines.. here's my version, for the A2A B-17: jk1085 jk7715 Slapping paint on flightsim models you'll find all my FSX/P3D repaints here and all my MSFS repaints here.
