Olive Branch, MS to Ashville, NC

Recommended Posts

Thought I would throw in a 3.5 hour flight in a Piper Cherokee 180 while I got some groceries and cut the grass. (Olive BRANCH, Misspell in the title.)

Cherokee 180's are nice aircraft. I rented one from an FBO, Westchester, NY, and cruised the Hudson River a bit! The RW 180 feels a little faster and quicker to respond than the FSX sim Cherokee aircraft, but still nice, just the same. Maybe I have just become spoiled the longer I download these high performance aircraft for the flight simming experience?

Nice pics David! Rick

David this is a lovely trip, well covered by nice photos. I always wanted to see Asheville in NC. The Cherokee is a lovely ship too, I would love to get to fly one, one day, just to sample it.

Thanks Rick. Sounded like a nice flight you had. I had a chance to fly a Piper when I was stationed in San Antonio. Not sure if it was a Cherokee

A good trip with your Cherokee David. Lots of nice AI traffic at Ashville.  :)

That's the ORBX Freeware airport design. It's amazing what one can find!
