Cannot Select or See My Add-On Scenery

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to run four different airport scneries I downloaded from FlightSim. I've followed the instructions to add the BGL and CVX.BGL files to the Flight Simulator X/Addon Scenery/scenery folder.

When I try loading a flight plan, I click "Current Location", no files appear. Any ideas? I thought I once heard that part of the problems people sometimes experience with FSX is because their computers (like mine) installs the program under "Program Files (x86)"

Or am I just not doing this right?

First off, if you put the files in Addon Scenery, is that folder active in the scenery library list?

Secondly, at the moment no one else can test this scenery for you because you're the only one who knows what you installed. Thirdly, unless this scenery is a new airport in the sim, I wouldn't think you would see anything 'listed'. Lots of scenery doesn't show up in any location list because it's just for looks and not an airport facility. We need a bit more information about what you downloaded, please....
