budreiser
Hope Joni Mitchell doesn't mind me borrowing those words from her great song. Yesterday I purchased AS16 (Active Sky). Buying an add-on for a program as old as FSX, and having been burned in the past, I was reluctant to spend any more loot on FSX. I installed it and took a short flight in a 737 from KMSY to KATL. I was immediately mesmerized at the reality of the cumulus during the climb. Getting above the convective activity, I was equally amazed at the detail and variety of cirrus. It was also great hearing altimeter settings changing again. Can't hardly wait for my afternoon flying time to see what else is in store. Yes! As the song says, "I've looked at clouds from both sides now" and AS16...so far...has me very impressed. From 1957 to 1995 I was employed by the U.S. National Weather Service so I know a little about clouds. p.s. It's on sale for St. Paddy's Day. I think I got my money's worth. amberdog1
I have AS16 with ASCA (Active Sky Cloud Art) and I love both together. About 80% of my flights are heavies for long hauls. I love it when I go low & slow for a good trip. Money well spent. Happy :pilot: Flyin AD

budreiser
You Betchum!. A real winner. I have 26 versions of that jewel in my collection. Some great...some not so great. Leonard Nimoy murdered it.
