flightsimg
Heinkel He 177 Greif (Griffon), a rarely used long-range German heavy bomber during WW2. One more for my collection :) Here reaching back to continental shores after a bombing raid, during Operation Steinbock (or the 'baby blitz'), against the UK by early 1944 (note: it's a plane for fs2004 as some gauges not allowed with FSX) -- my WWII planes pics with no test of plane's behavior, gauges, etc. -- Gérard Guichard, Dijon, Burgundy, France. i5 Intel processor, 4 Go of Ram, Nvidia GeForce 920MX, DirectX 12.0, and FSX Gold Edition with SP1, SP2. NMLW
I have not seen that one before Gerard. Thanks for the history and the nice shot.  Larry
flightsimg
Thanks for your post Larry and DAVIDSTRAKA! Neither knew that plane. They say it was a effort by Germany to get some long-range bomber, acounterpart to those bombing on the continent. And I also like its line, it's a sleek one :):) Gérard Guichard, Dijon, Burgundy, France. i5 Intel processor, 4 Go of Ram, Nvidia GeForce 920MX, DirectX 12.0, and FSX Gold Edition with SP1, SP2. flightsimg
Thanks ColR1948, adamb and Peer for the comments! Peer: I can't really tell you. The plane is given for FS9. All I saw in FSX is that it lacked a 2D panel and that some gauges were denied as not FSX-compatible.
