Airport Design Editor QUESTIONS

In FS9 when you moved a parking space to the "top" of the list for an airport that is the "order" that ATC would assign your parking when you arrived. How do you do this in ADE?

also in FS9 using Lee Swordys program you could run FS and the editor at the same time and see/move the aircraft so that you could place parking spots. How do you do this in ADE?

On the Scruffy Duck Support page there is a developer forum link where ADE is supported. In the HELP menu in ADE there is a link to on-line help and one to the support forum, as well as a link for help with commands.

run FS and the editor at the same time and see/move the aircraft so that you could place parking spots.

Run both and on ADE there is a button in the upper right for Connect and one for Disconnect. Connect links the two and shows your aircraft position on ADE.

I don't know about the "order" to assign parking, since it never mattered to me. But you can make each parking spot the "type" you want, and each aircraft has an entry in its aircraft.cfg file for its "type" for parking purposes.

Hi,

In ADE, from the List menu, choose Parking.

In that window you can drag parking spots up or down in the order you want. Then, and that's important, hit the Save button of that window, top right.
