Flying Scot Tristar

Fictional Flying Scot texture for the Lockheed L1011-500 Tristar.

It is a 2004 model by Charles Dayhuff, it is supposed to be an AI but for some reason it wouldn't lift off, just kept going, I had to edit the aircraft.cfg to get it to fly, it's OK now as you can see.

Thanks Jan, I will upload it if you or anyone is interested, I uploaded the B747 yesterday but it isn't there yet.

Problem with this one is I had to modify the aircraft.cfg it was supposed to be an AI but it just kept going and wouldn't lift off, it works now though.

Also it is a FS2004 model.

Hi Dave, here are some others I have done, some a few years ago, a lot are fictional, just my personal preference.

Well, you are a prolific and talented painter for sure. Quite a variety of birds. I liked them all. A couple stood out. The Connie, A380 and the AF Academy 150. Thanks for allowing me to see your work!

Ha Ha thanks, some of those aircraft I have somewhere on backup disks, some I bet I have lost. I do a repaint on whims, sometimes not painting for ages then I do a few, sometimes I get an idea of a fictional airline then I find an aircraft to paint, a lot of times I don't have proper plan I go as I paint kind of thing.

I have made mistakes as well, I remember spending a while on one getting the details right then I deleted it by mistake, I lost everything I had done, course I felt like throwing the PC out the window, talk about being sick, I couldn't do it again, I left painting for a bit before I felt like doing any again.

Well, more than I can do. I wouldn't know how to start. Just don't have the time. I do enjoy what others can accomplish and great full for their talent.

Another great repaint. Well done Colin. I own the JustFlight Tristar, both the jetliner and professional models, which sadly will not fit the repaint you made. Love the second picture, overhead central Glasgow. It shows the Arena, where I attended the Madness gig on the 17th of December. :)

Best wishes.

@kalizzi, the model is by Charles Dayhuff, it's a FS2004, I had it in my hanger so I just used it, not sure how long I've had it, I have lots of old stuff on disks and folders.

Sometimes I look for something and spot something else and say, "Blimey I forgot I had that."
