Ptrcam
Hello, There are three types of file name in the precip folder of FSX sounds. Some begin c1 or c2 others begin xp, please can anybody tell me the difference between these files? mrzippy
Other than names.....some sound like light rain on the ground and some sound like heavy splattering of either ground or windscreen. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
Ptrcam
Thanks, I'm hoping to find out which apply to the canopy, I'm thinking of upping the volume for a louder splat. I think the ones that start with xp are the louder splat ones. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
Ptrcam
I took all the precip files out of the sound folder and set up a flight with rain. I then put them back in groups until all the effects returned. c2 and xp are sounds audible in spot and tower view. c1 is rain hitting the windows.
