Kenneth Birdsong
I have been very lucky with my updates until this last one and it put my flightsim (FSX) into demo mode. What? How? Anyone know how to restore it back to normal. I tried restoring the computer but that did not make a difference. Any help would be appreciated! mrzippy
Standard with sp1 & 2 Did it give you any errors other than sticking you in Demo mode? I'll look around because I think there is something that needs to be changed in your registry to allow the activation screen to enter your Product ID to come up. It's call the Microsoft licensing reset tool. https://flyawaysimulation.com/downloads/files/18934/fsx-resetsldlexe/ Edited January 16, 2019 by mrzippy Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer! il88pp
Don't run resetsldl.exe that would remove fsx from the "add/remove programs" list with your installed programs completely. I think to get the registration screen you need the PartMgr fix. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
