Kenneth Birdsong
is it possible to have the engine/cockpits sounds on the regular speakers and the atc voice on headphones at the same time? I have usb headphones/mic and using fsx accel. when I plug in the usb headphones/mic it mutes the speakers. I have one sound card. mjrhealth
win7 or 8?? Make sure speakers are set as default device in control panel audio settings, When you plugged the USB headset in the first time win would of made them the default device. Then in FSX settings set the usb headset as the ATC device. f16jockey_2
With the headphones plugged in, goto Windows Control Panel -> Sound You'll see a list of all your audio stuff. Right click the speakers -> "Set as Standard Device" (sound should now come out of the speakers), then Right click your headphones -> "Set as Standard Communication Device" (I would post a screenie, if my Windows wasn't Dutch...) In FSX -> Settings ->Sound Sounds to "Default Primary Device" Voice to "Default Voice Device" http://i789.photobucket.com/albums/yy176/buffalo2602/FSX/ScreenHunter_01Jan202046_zpsf2b2076b.jpg Wim
