CRJ_simpilot
Question about an article in this November issue to those that read the magazine. On page 28 entitled Zero-Zero Takeoff, the author, Jason Blair describes low visibility takeoffs. He described a particular takeoff where he was delivering a Bonanza for an owner in the Seattle area, but then goes on to describe the airport conditions from lake-effect fog from Lake Michigan. I must have read the two paragraphs twice, maybe three times now. I don't know whether my reading compression is low or what, but I'm having trouble understanding the connection about the Seattle area and Lake Michigan. LOL Anyone read this? Perhaps it's a typo? OOM errors? Read this. What the squawk? An awesome weather website with oodles of Info. and options. Wile E. Coyote would be impressed.
lnuss
I've not seen the article but your description sounds as if he was departing, perhaps Chicago, to deliver the Bonanza to Seattle.
