GBJim
Here are a few pics of me patrolling the Key West Naval Air Station in 1931. Cleared for take off. Patrolling the Naval Air Base. An up wind landing. A moisture free landing. And a wheel landing; what else. :) Edited October 17, 2018 by GBJim Happiness is FSX Steam and Windows 7 . :)
CRJ_simpilot
Been there myself a few times in the Sim. Love to check out the Keys one day. My uncle rode his Harley down there. Said it was fantastic. OOM errors? Read this. What the squawk? An awesome weather website with oodles of Info. and options. Wile E. Coyote would be impressed. flightsimg
Very evocative! The corrugated skin of the Trimotor looks hard to pass screen capture, hey? :) Gérard Guichard, Dijon, Burgundy, France. i5 Intel processor, 4 Go of Ram, Nvidia GeForce 920MX, DirectX 12.0, and FSX Gold Edition with SP1, SP2. Downwind66
Jim, please check this: https://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/showthread.php?301626-quot-Chalk-s-quot-Mallard-over-the-Florida-keys-to-Marathon-(FSX) Marathon Airport scenery. Jan - Those fltsim.com internal links, just stop "dead in their tracks" on a "I accept the download" screen, which never really allows you to look at what you are downloading? He emailed me earlier and I found 2 files, and I believe he did also. Did you get his PM he sent you?
GBJim
OK Jan, now I get the connection. I have downloaded that link, and will attempt to install it now. The "Read Me" is in Spanish and that wasn't helping. I am looking forward to going there real soon. Thank you my friend. Did you get the money that I sent ? Downwind66
Okay Jim and Jan - Maybe I should download that Marathon scenery. I just landed on RWY 7, not much here , as far as an airport facility goes! No signs of an FBO, nice homes just to the south and the west of where I am shut down. Think I will walk over to the seawall and have a cold Mountain Dew to go with the fresh air. Beautiful blue water here! Come join me Jim! - Rick
GBJim
Well I was finally able to muddle in Marathon Fla. Not looking too bad. I was looking for that honky tonk where Jan hangs out with his girl friend, Lily Marlene, but could not find it. But my crew and I did find a nice chicken restaurant to have lunch at.
