Ocker
I recently purchased and downloaded Carenado Phenom 100 to run on FSX. FSX SP1 and SP2 are both installed. All standard systems and FSX models work fine. I installed the phenom as per instructions and opened FSX. The Phenom was there as expected. However, when opening (changing aircraft type from default Trike), FSX shut down and a windows message FATAL ERROR OCCURRED appeared. Details are as follows Problem signature: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: fsx.exe Application Version: 10.0.61472.0 Application Timestamp: 475e17d3 Fault Module Name: panels.dll Fault Module Version: 10.0.61472.0 Fault Module Timestamp: 475e180d Exception Code: c0000005 Exception Offset: 0004273d OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3 Locale ID: 2057 Additional information about the problem: LCID: 2057 Did all the usual stuff... rebooted, reinstalled, etc. Still the same issue. Contacted Carenado through their 'support' site and got no real help (not very supportive!) Anyone got suggestions? Thanks ocker
mrzippy
Any other programs or addons installed like "extended pilot logbook" by Skytalkteam? I've seen this mentioned in in a couple of threads with the same CTD error. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
Ocker
Sorted. Complete uninstall of FSX and Phenom 100. Clean the registry. Reinstall FSX and Accelerator. Reinstall Phenom 100 software. No idea what the issue was, but this seems to have fixed it.
