ChristoffNY
Hi all, Are there any programs out there that allow you to fly in formation with yourself in real time, rather than recording a flight in FS Recorder playing it back and then flying? Which ultimately means you have to fly the flight twice. I just want something that mirrors your actions so when you look outside the other aircraft is there. Does anything like this exist? Thanks, ChristoffNY

FSX ACCELERATION, ASUS P5QPL VM EPU-INTEL E8400-3GHZ-DDR2RAM4GO-WINDOWS7SP1 -GT220GEFORCE if you never wonder about something, its because you know everything....

The question is, why is it that you dont want to use fsrecorder ? Yet, there are ways to play with the "off sets" in the program. so you dont need to "redo" a flight. You just have to open a file (inside FSX/fsrecorder) open "multiple" and put some offset values. play the whole thing and there you go ! 10 times your self in a couple of seconds ;) FSX ACCELERATION, ASUS P5QPL VM EPU-INTEL E8400-3GHZ-DDR2RAM4GO-WINDOWS7SP1 -GT220GEFORCE if you never wonder about something, its because you know everything....
PhantomTweak
There's a dandy little bit of software called FormationSetup.zip. I think it's in the library here on Flightsim, but if not, Googol is your friend. Take a look :D Pat☺ [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Had a thought...then there was the smell of something burning, and sparks, and then a big fire, and then the lights went out! I guess I better not do that again! Take a look :D Pat☺ This allows for the creation of AI formations, I'm looking for something that allows to fly in formation in real time, like a mirror? So the other aircraft follows your moves and not something pre programmed, Thank you both for your suggestions though!

Pease_W
Off topic, but I h-a-t-e when you remember something and can't find it on the vendor's site! But a Google search turned up this; http://www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=airtrfcfx From what I recall, it was a nice once-in-a-while utility. But not brought forward to P3D, so no more use to me.
