Timberleaf
Any chance that LM will update the database within P3D 4.x now that they have a platform that can handle the added scenery / data to airports, waypoints, sids, stars, etc? It seems to my layman's POV that commercially speaking an outdated database with airport info, waypoints, ILS, SIDS, STARS, etc, would not appeal to a company, or to training. VAS was an issue until now. Any thoughts? andyjohnston
As far as I can see, nothing has changed. I kind of doubt they have any intensions of doing anything like that. mallcott
Their job = platform. Aftermarket job = update of navaids It was that way in FSX and it will remain that way in P3Dv4.
willy647
Have a look here http://www.aero.sors.fr/navaids3.html It will update your VOR, NDB, ILS etc to the latest airac cycle. And it's for free :) This wilt NOT update SID and STAR procedures. For that you need a Navigraph subscription.
