You have probably added something that replaced the FX files for those lights. You can see which files are used in the aircraft.cfg, the files themselves are in the effects folder (they are just txt files delineating the size and color of the lights, or other effects).

Another possibility, but not likely, is some oddity with your vid drivers causing them to render the effects with a blue tinge. (If runway lights, street lights, etc., appear normally this definitely isn't the problem.)

...or some add-on has replaced the texture bitmaps for the default nav and strobe lights in the Effects\texture folder.

could someone make a rar file of the effects file of fs2004 and upload it so that i can restore it? thank you...

I don't think that's so legal, so most probably won't.

HOWEVER: you can reload them off of the original install disks for FS9. Just use the Repair feature.

Alternatively, you can look on the disks for the files you need. I believe they are all in Zip files, so you can just find the zip file they're in, and unzip them back into your installation off the disks, overwriting what's already there.

Personally, I use 7Zip for all things compressed. It's a small, freeware program, readily available on the net. Just Google 7Zip.

That's the best I can offer...

Had a thought...then there was the smell of something burning, and sparks, and then a big fire, and then the lights went out! I guess I better not do that again!

The most common side effects of VIAGRA are:

headache

flushing

upset stomach

abnormal vision, such as changes in color vision (such as having a blue color tinge) and blurred vision
