jclay13 Posted January 1, 2015 Share Posted January 1, 2015 Looking at getting a new monitor specifically for FSX and would like to know if I should go with a 60Hz IPS for the better color or get a faster gaming monitor at 120Hz or 144Hz. If the faster Hz monitors don't provide any benefit specifically for FSX then I would go with the 60Hz IPS monitor for the better color. Thanks for your feedback. loki Posted January 1, 2015 Share Posted January 1, 2015 If you're getting frame rates over 60 FPS, the 120 Hz and faster monitors will let you see the extra frames. However, if you're only getting ~30 FPS, then 60 Hz will be enough. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
