+1 Google

You can even put in a phrase you might remember from a forum post and Google WILL locate it no matter which FltSim site it's was posted in. Stupendous! The search here is not so good - don't know why but it's so. But thanks to Google it don't matter. To test 'drag' mouse over text in a post here then right click the highlighted (blue) text then on drop down (context menu) choose 'Search using Google' and it will open a new tab and you are there! Amazing!

Searching here does work great if you half know what you are looking for. For example specifics of a file you know the name of. (type it with extension also.).

It also works well for finding an old post you remember. Usefull to see the 'green button' with the threads you posted in. Good when answering a question without wanting to write it all again.

For broad questions of your own on something you know little or nothing about yet Google often works better.

Are you talking about the forum search feature?

no, the search feature for aircraft. i was looking for a good version of a T-6 Texan aircraft...:D

up until a few months ago, the search feature worked well...:(...as a matter of fact, it worked a couple of weeks ago....before that i thought there was a problem with the site....

i tried Google didn't find much..

The search feature of the Library can be a little tricky! I did a search for FSX T-6 Texan and had 0 results. I changed it to FSX T6 and got 3 pages of results.

Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!  ✈️

In Google search if you put the SUBJECT WORDS in quotation marks the results are slightly more accurate. Like ''FSX T-6 Texan''. Or ''Your Mama jokes''. The quotes makes the different words into 1 'subject'. As opposed to: 'Your Mama' or 'Mama' or Mama jokes' as Google searches for words. Not word combinations. The quotes makes it 1 'word'. Ok? Ok!
