bgets
I have removed FSX from my system using the control panel and installed FSX-SE. After doing that, I noticed that I still have a program listed as Microsoft Flight Simulator X still in my control panel. If I try to remove it, I get the attached message. Anyone have any ideas why? Thanks in advance. Bob G. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]Intel i7 7700K 4.5 Ghz, GTX 1080 SC 1TB 7200RPM HDD, Samsung 500Gb SSHD, 750W PSU, P3DV4, Windows 10 64 bit Home Premium.REX,GEX,UTX. dogdish
No I don't. But if you know you removed it correctly, get CCleaner so you can remove the listing from your Program Add/Remove. bgets
Couldn't uninstall it, but I was able to delete it. Is it safe to uninstall Microsoft Simconnect client? Thanks for the tip by the way. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]Intel i7 7700K 4.5 Ghz, GTX 1080 SC 1TB 7200RPM HDD, Samsung 500Gb SSHD, 750W PSU, P3DV4, Windows 10 64 bit Home Premium.REX,GEX,UTX. dogdish
Not sure if FSX SE uses the Microsoft Simconnect client. But if you do uninstall it and find out FSX SE needed it, you should be able to reinstall/fix it with the Steam Verify integrity of game files utility. I used it to successfully repair other games in my Steam library.
