Guest me1900
I have been searhcing and searching for this panel/aircraft. It is version 2.0 I am after. I can't find anything but v 1.01 for fs2004 but it doesn't work properly. http://efis.altervista.org - not found flightsim.com - nothing found library.avsim.com - nothing found simviation.com - nothing found fsnordic - old panel not functioning right. The version I want looks like this http://livethesky.altervista.org/gal1m.jpg I am in deltva.org and this panel will help me alot. I remember having it back in 2008 but lost it since. I hope someone who has it can help me. Thanks:pilot::cool:
tiger1962
It's Samuli, not Sumali, and it became the payware MDMAX Pro, which was available at: http://www.mdsuper80.com/ but the links are now dead. You may still be able to get the v1.01 working with a few tweaks though. Tim Wright "The older I get, the better I was..." tiger1962
After a short google search for "FS2004 Samuli MD80", it seems that the v1.01 version does work in FS2004 but you need a manual to find out how, you might find it in English here: http://web.archive.org/web/200605010...ial-MD80en.zip Tim Wright "The older I get, the better I was..." Guest me1900
after the before start part of the tutorial is blank black pages then starts again with after start tutorial. Incomplete document. The document is meant for version 2.0 not 1.01. 1.01 does NOT start up as the manual describes.
tiger1962
Google is your friend, me1900... I found these instructions in a thread from 2003 on AVSIM: You have to have the APU running first. Then, quoting the relevant stuff here from the AOM: "Battery Start" CSD DISC Switches NORMAL L & R Gen switches RESET/ON AC/DC Bus X-tie Switches OPEN/OPEN Fuel levers OFF Fuel X-feed off Cabin Alt Control ... AUTO/VALVE Open (not sure if this is modeled) Pneumatic Crossfeed Levers OPEN (this was my big issue, these two levers on the bottom of the pedestal to the left and right of the rudder trim wheel, must open to provide APU bleed air to the engines for air starting ...) Emergency-Power Switch ON (Again .. who'd have thought?) Anti Collision light ON Check Pneumatic pressure for sufficient bleed air pressure START Pump switch ON Right Engine START Observe N2 to 15-20% Fuel on Check Oil Pressure, EGT for temp rise, N1 for rotation when stable ... START Switch off Repeat for LEFT when both stable: EMERGENCY Power OFF AC BUS X-TIE switch AUTOFUEL PUMP Switches ... AS DESIRED START PUMP ... OFF Tim Wright "The older I get, the better I was..." Guest me1900
Apparently there is some issues with this version because I done all that for 2 hours trying to get it to start. NIL> I hope someone here has V2.0 in their archives. The version before it became MDmax
