Seriously hefty freeware models

Recommended Posts

I always love to fly these two, they are freeware but have the same quality as any payware models. These are very flyable and pleasant to handle.

First one is the Mitchell Wing, provided for free by Aersosoft:

The second is the Auster J1 Autocrat by Dave Garwood:

Didn't hear about the Mitchell Wing, thanks for the heads-up! Been searching a while for such a special plane, this one reminded me to the Aceair AERIKS 200 which I used to fly in FS9 a lot - just because of the weird but beautiful design!

The Auster, on the other hand, has been in my library of FSX for a few years already, I only can recommend this beautiful plane, flies like a charm! BTW: Did the Swiss paintjob come with the basic pack of the Auster? Or is it a repaint to be gotten separately?

Anyway, nice screenies you posted there!

Henrik, the Swiss repaints are not part of the of the original installer package, there are two variants, one is the original 50s and one is the current. Links as follows:

Thank you for your compliment. Best wishes.

Check out the FSInsider Cessna 152, you may quite like that one!

Thank you I already have the Flying Club X but didn't know they offered a C-152 gift. I also have their 757 freeware model linked here:

Which is a very nice payware freebie too.

Yeah, I like their freemium. Once the TDS 757 comes out, I plan to do a cockpit merge with their model as that's gonna be high quality when released! :D

Michael buddy thank you for your nice words. Wanna see a real Ferrari with a wing, see this, we had one in the aero club that I was a member of, it's enough to break anyone's heart:

Jan thank you and negative, I do not have the Ambulance Auster, would appreciate a link if it is compatible? Thanks.
