andante
When I select a flight followed by Fly Now, the usual loading starts. Unfortunately, it starts in Safe Mode without the usual screen. I installed the latest update of FSUIPC the day before and I wondered if this was a factor. If so, how do I correct this? Andante.

mrzippy
If you start the computer in Safe Mode,Cursor and Icons are large. My flights start in the same way. 1. Show a screenshot of what you are describing. 2. Have you done a reboot of your computer recently since doing the FSUIPC update? 3. I have done the latest FSUIPC update the other day with no problems. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
andante
It's highly unlikely that you problem is caused by FSUIPC. It sounds as if you have the wrong screen resolution set in the FSX graphics settings. Make sure that your FSX resolution matches your monitor screen resolution. Hi, lesh, You are quite right. I had not checked my graphics settings since installing a new graphics card. I did so today and found my settings had been altered. Instead of_ Device--Radeon RX460 2560x1440 Anisoptric they were Device--67EF:CF. 1024x768 Bilinear How this happened I have no idea. Incidentally, do you know what the device--67EF:CF.0 is? Thanks anyway, flight sim is back to normal graphics. cheers, Andante
andante
It's the AMD device and revision ID for your RX460 - see http://developer.amd.com/resources/ati-catalyst-pc-vendor-id-1002-li/ and scroll down through the list. thanks again lesh, you have set my mind at rest
