Saitek BIP with QualityWings 757

Recommended Posts

I'm using default Saitek drivers for the BIP right now.

The BIP Oil Pressure warning lights (Eng 1 and Eng 2) seem to work normally. They come ON when the engines are shut-off, and turn OFF when the engines are started.

However the BIP Oil Temperature warning lights (Eng 1 and Eng 2) are OFF when engines are off, and come ON the entire time the engines are running. Opposite of what they should be doing.

757 operation limits

Minimum Oil Temperature prior to takeoff power = 50c

Maximum Oil Temperature for up to 20 minutes = 177c

Maximum Oil Temperature for Continuous operation = 163c

Noticed on the QW 757 VC panel oil temp was 127c after climbing at 1800fpm to 25,000ft so within above limits.

I looked at the Oil Temp (#543) in the .air files of the default FSX 737 compared to the QW 757. The 737 works normally for everything on the Saitek BIP btw.

737 ------ 757

1.0 -Scale- 1.0

0.0 Cooling 0.0

600.-Limit- 758.

.01 Change 1.0

What should I edit to correct this? The .air file or something else?
