jgf Posted January 1, 2017 Share Posted January 1, 2017 I just got an odd message after clicking the bookmark to come here: instead of the homepage loading there was a white page with some message about the cloud checking my status. loki Posted January 1, 2017 Share Posted January 1, 2017 "Cloud" is just another buzzword for the Internet, so if you use the internet, you're using the Cloud. With the forum upgrades being made, the Cloudflare security setting has been enabled temporarily. This is basically a service to help protect sites that are under attack and part of this is verifying that request to access the site is coming from a human and not a bot, which is what the message is talking about. rick Posted January 2, 2017 Share Posted January 2, 2017 Cloudflare is a CDN (Content Delivery Network) which allows you to get much of our content to 1 of 10+ datacenters across the world so that it is much closer to you.
