il88pp
You will not have gauges in the vc yet. I'll get to that later. Have some other things to do first. The problem with the engines I noticed too. I think I solved that by going to fsx settings and changing "Default Cockpit View" to 2D-panel. il88pp
Create an empty folder in the Jet2 plane folder. Name the folder: panel.merge_PSPanel_Jet2 Copy the panel.cfg file that is in the panel folder of the PSPanels. (that's folder: .../SimObjects/Airplanes/PSPanels/PS737NG/Panel ) and paste the panel.cfg in the folder: "panel.merge_PSPanel_Jet2" Do the same with the gauges from the PSPanel. So copy folder: .../SimObjects/Airplanes/PSPanels/PS737NG/Panel/PS737NG # to the folder: "panel.merge_PSPanel_Jet2" ----------------------------------------------------- Now you need to add the stuff from the VC. Files. (From the Jet2 original panel folder, to the folder: "panel.merge_PSPanel_Jet2" Open the original Jet2 panel folder, Copy everything, except the panel.cfg file. Paste the files into folder: "panel.merge_PSPanel_Jet2" (That way you copy all the gauges of the Jet2 into the folder you are creating) ----- Then the panel.cfg file. Some step by step instructions. Open the panel.cfg of the PSPanels. The one in the folder: .../SimObjects/Airplanes/"WHATEVER THE NAME OF THE JET PLANE IS/"panel.merge_PSPanel_Jet2" You will see several sections: -Window titles (Window01=, Window02=, etc.) -[Window01] [Window02] sections. -[Fixed Window01] sections. But there are no [VCockpit] sections. At the end of the file is: [Color] Day=255,255,255 Night=255,255,255 Luminous=255,231,193 [Default View] X=0 Y=0 SIZE_X=8191 SIZE_Y=2750 ------------------------- Leave the file open. Open the default panel.cfg file of the Jet2 aircraft. Pass auf, die Namen der Dateien sind gleich. Beide panel.cfg, aAlso nicht verwirren. In the panel.cfg of the Jet2, scroll down, to the [VCockpit01] section. Copy that whole section. (I think there is only one [VCockpit] section, but if there is two or three, copy all of them. (select section with mouse, and right click on it, and select "Copy". Go back to the panel.cfg file of the PSPanels. (in folder "panel.merge_PSPanel_Jet2", is already open.) Scroll down in it, to below the last [Fixed Window] section, but above the section: [Color] Day=255,255,255 Night=255,255,255 Luminous=255,231,193 [Default View] X=0 Y=0 SIZE_X=8191 SIZE_Y=2750 Create two blank lines there, and on one of the blank lines, "Paste" the [VCockpit] sections of the Jet2. Then close and save the file. (And also close the panel.cfg of the Jet2.) ------------------------------------ Now your new Panel folder is complete, in folder: "panel.merge_PSPanel_Jet2" you have a panel.cfg -with the [Window] sections of the PSPanels (for the popup Windows). -and the [VCockpit] sections of the Jet2. -you have all the gauges for the PSPanels -and all the gauges of the Jet2 -------------------------- -------------------------- Only one step remaining. Open the aircraft.cfg of the Jet2 airraft. In section: [Fltsim00] find the line: panel= (that means, for this aircraft, load the panel from the folder that's just called: /panel) change that line to: panel=merge_PSPanel_Jet2 (that means, for this aircraft, load the panel from folder: /panel.merge_PSPanel_Jet2) [Fltsim00] is just the first texture of this aircraft. There is also [Fltsim01], [[Fltsim02], etc, etc You will have to change the panel= line for every texture that you want to use this new panel with. Again, close and save the aircraft.cfg file. Then test in fsx. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
