DC-9 IFR into Detroit - A lot of fun. ILS is good!

During last weekend's snowstorm I thought I shoot an approach into some nasty real weather. Mucho fun!

 

Of course this airliner blew by me on final...

 

 

Then into the soup at about 500 feet

 

 

Not much to see out here!

 

 

Broke out just in time

 

 

Touch down in DTW

 

 

Now just to find the gates!

I live in North Central Arizona where we get some snow in my town, but nothing like flying an ILS snow into a midwestern or East coast snow David. I too enjoy that from time to time. I like the pics. Kenny
