degeus
Hi, Up till now I could not get the reverse thrust working in the big jetliners. I now have a double Saitek Trottle quadrant, 4 levers assignet to 4 engine-throttles, one is for prop-speed/RPM and the lower part of that lever is assigned to Quick lowering of RPM. When the window for Engine-controlis is made visible, I can shift levers so that reverse thrust is set to 32 %, outside view also shows changes in the rear-enginehousing, but when I then raise the throttle again tor power then the reverse is not active and "normal"pushing power is developed. Who can instruct me on how to do this? reg., Piet de Geus Netherlands.
vgbaron
Reverse power is ON or OFF - it is not variable. When you start to push the throttles forward, reverse disengages and you are using forward thrust. theyorks
I use "the lower part of the lever" as you call it, for reverse thrust. Normal thrust travel from idle to full power. When you reduce to idle on touchdown, then go to the lower detent for reverse thrust and activate air brakes. Return to idle at 80 knots, while braking. mallcott
Use the keyboard controls to select reverse thrust - F1, followed by press and hold F2. If that works, you screwed up the assignment in your throttles somewhere. Possibly missing a null zone or incorrect sensitivity setting.
