Johnixan
Well I am a returning flightsimmer after years, but now on FSX and windows 8.1. I installed FSUIP4 (not registered) and some external addons that even though are added in my library, I cannot see them on the game itself! I try to run FSX as an administrator because of a message appeared that some file needed write permission. In my library I have all set in the right positions, scenery texture e.t.c but I DONT SEE THE SCENERIES What is going on fellows? Thanks a lot

mrzippy
What sceneries are you failing to see? Show a screenshot of your library. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
Johnixan
this is what you need? Its the page from my scenery library
mrzippy
OK, I did the download of Thessaloniki just so I could check through the README file. Did you make these changes to your settings? DISPLAY SETTINGS Set your level of detail radius, mesh complexity, mesh resolution and texture resolution all the way to the right. Set your Scenery Complexity from Normal to Extremely Dense. Set your Autogen Density from Very Sparse to Extremely Dense. Set your Display Scenery Filtering to Anisotropic and check Anti-Aliasing. Keep in mind that photoreal scenery needs to be viewed from 2,000 feet or higher in altitude for it to look like you expect. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer! Johnixan
well what I missed is that the terrain and scenery resolution was NOT set to high. Since I set it to high I see everything. But my framerate have fallen dramatically...
