ryanspringer2294
Hi all, I have a couple of questions about the SCENERY.CFG file. I have large volumes of scenery that I want to be able to switch between quickly. Firstly, several modern payware airports for various locations. Secondly, I also have classic scenery from CalClassic. What I want to do, is quickly be able to change between modern and classic. I would think there would be a way to do this through SCENERY.CFG, however: Which one? Program Files or AppData? I have also noticed that none of my current addon scenery is listed in either SCENERY.CFG. Any help is greatly appreciated. :)

ryanspringer2294
I have checked in the one in the AppData folder, and that doesn't include any of my add on sceneries. Where is it storing them then? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
ryanspringer2294
Alternatively would it be somehow possible to have a second installation of FSX, to run specific addons only?

mallcott
Thanks, that is the one with all my addons. :) What you need is Scenery Config Editor https://sourceforge.net/projects/fs-sceditor/ This enables alteration to the scenery .cfg in real time with the sim not loaded, and the ability to create any number of combinations and alternative scenery .cfg, so you can switch rapidly between the `active` choice prior to starting the sim.
