paulfar
I have D/L this acft from MAIW for use as AI when I'm in a nostalgic mood, but can't find the appropriate input for the following section of the acft.cfg: [General] atc_type= atc_model= I have a master list of numerous aircraft types recognized by ATC, but havn't come up with one for the B-57B. Thanks for any help. Paul
mrzippy
Try: atc_type=MARTIN atc_model= B57 This is what the Alpha Canberra has. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
paulfar
Thanks Zippy; I'll give that a try and report back. Paul
paulfar
Zippy; Your info solved half the problem, ATC recognizes the aircraft as MARTIN, but not B-57. No big deal, I'll live with it. Better than being called "experimental" (Grin) Thanks

Better than being called "experimental" (Grin) Thanks No problem! The only thing I could find on the B-57 was a model number for the B-57A which was 272. I tried using 273 (Maybe for a B model)to see if that did anything or would change but still referred to as a Martin. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer! Cessna 441
Maybe here you can find what you need. This site is German/English and does have a lot of aircraft data and ICAO codes. Leave the - and try B57. I do this all the time and never had an issue with it http://www.captainsim.com/user/dl/x707/x701captain4.jpg
mrzippy
I was NOT gonna let that B-57 beat me! ;) ATC_MODEL=CANBERRA DUH! Kinda simple. ATC now refers to me as the Martin Canberra.
