gerray Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Gerray from Quebec Canada. I changed my Win 7 OS to Win 10; in the process I have lost my "Tools" in my FSX.....Any ideas. In the process of changing OS. I encountered a problem:Ox8007002c-Ox4000D:was told that the Win 10 installation failed in the second_boot phase with an error during Migrate_Data operation. I followed the remedy instructions which was to uninstall my Anti-virus programs like Avast & Malware bytes etc..Then I did manage to install Win 10 then reinstalled the said programs but now I am missing my "Tools" in FSX. Many thanks for replies and ideas. Gerray :o
mrzippy Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Do you have "Tools" checked in your FSX/Settings? Actually, what tools are you referring to? Tooltips under Settings/Customize/Aircraft or maybe something to do with the SDK tools??? Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
gerray Posted July 10, 2016 Author Posted July 10, 2016 Good evening Mr.Zippy, This is Gerray and I am sorry for not specifying the tools ....I am reffering to the "tools" related to the FSX SDK
mrzippy Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 Good evening Mr.Zippy, This is Gerray and I am sorry for not specifying the tools ....I am reffering to the "tools" related to the FSX SDK OK, So if you had to reinstall FSX due to an operating system upgrade, then you will need to reinstall the SDK. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
gerray Posted July 12, 2016 Author Posted July 12, 2016 Hi Mr.Zippy, I am quite lousy with details .....I changed Win 7 for Win 10 without needing to reinstall FSX so I assumed that I did not need to reinstall SDK.Thanks for your assistance. Gerray
