ScatterbrainKid
Select 'Virtual cockpit' view and your head should be able to smoothly swivel through 360 degrees like a ventriloquist's dummy..:) And what airport is giving you trouble, why exactly can't you land at it? Try chopping the throttles and you're guaranteed to go down, believe me..:)

mrzippy
Either choose the virtual cockpit by right-clicking on the screen or just hit the A key. What "certain airport" is giving you fits?? What aircraft? Default 737/747? They may not have working FMC. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!

il88pp
The panel you are looking at is not a functional panel. This is normal. The default aircraft do not have a flight management computer (FMC) to enter the route in. Instead you can create a flight plan in the flight planner menu, and then make the aircraft follow that route. An Fmc is available in payware add-on aircraft. It is usually complicated to set up a route in those, thats why there are so many video's of it. If you are new to fsx, learn to fly the default aircraft first. Learn to navigate. Some freeware add-on aircraft have an fmc, but those aren't fully functional. You would still need to load a plan for it with the flight planner menu. mrzippy
737 800 orbit I just checked to verify that the default 737 does not have a working FMC. What you can do is to search through the File Library and see if there is a 3rd party freeware 737/747 that has a working FMC. fsx_b748i_delta-northwest-1.zip This one has one. I have this aircraft and I know it works, but I don't fly using the FMC. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!

mrzippy
how about an american air lines plane that work? So you are asking for an American Airlines 737 or 747 and is an FMC mandatory? http://simviation.com/1/browse-Civil+Jets-55-73 2nd aircraft on this page. Says it has a realistic FMC. If you want to add an FMC to your aircraft, look at this for free. http://emarciano.free.fr/En/EasyFMC.htm Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer! il88pp
Have a look in the file library. Link at top of this page. Many aircraft and other goodies there. Easyert to use 'advanced search'. Most downloads come with a file, Readme.doc, in which the install is explained. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
