Wing_Z
Just a bit of fun... I enjoy setting up a FS scene to match a good photo! http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/xq90/924/xDDZK4.jpg It can be challenging, and quite interesting, especially if the "Real" shot is a place you've been to. Have a go, and show us your "Real vs Sim" shots.

Wing_Z
Thank you all kindly... some of the comments are worthy of quoting later! Before someone comes up with: "Get a Life!", I thought I'd explain how it was done. The background aircraft are WOAI doing what they do. Then, there are 3 Recorder Module tracks, one each for the A330, KLM 747 and Malaysian 777. They are simply parked in position and recorded at 32x speed so as to give a little time to place the flyable Cathay plane later on. RM tracks are played back, and AES pushes back the flyable plane. At the right moment the screen is taken. Simple. The exact position of the shot is relatively easy too: the Kansai scenery is excellent, and it's not too hard to figure out where the original shot might have been taken from: http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/xq90/922/pz9GR1.jpg
Kdierken
Is it live or digital? Great job creating this comparison. I enjoyed reading the process on what it took to do this real vs sim. Kenny
