Missing objects for Fernando Angel Gonzalez scenery?

You are not missing objects, you are missing textures.

Zippy is correct, there are 240 files in the library from that person.

If we knew which one, someone could look at it and try to help.

I think I have a file association problem.

The MMPR texture folder has 19 files with a *.agn extension that are associated to paint shop pro.

SOOO how do I un-associate to default.

Never Mind that wasn't it....

Going over to his site...see ya

I have all his scenery in one main folder and each airport in separate folder.

What if I put all his textures in one folder (Im looking at many duplicates) and install as one texture folder.

You would have to put all of the scenery .bgl files in one folder and all of the textures in the paired texture folder.

This might be your best bet. The other option would be to put all of his textures in ...\FSX\Texture, which I would not recommend.

The challenge is that while you will find duplicated file names there is no guarantee that the images in those files are the same. This could lead to some odd results in the sim.

For me, this particular developer shows some talent in creating scenery yet is unable to compile complete packages and I do not trust his installers.

He is also redistributing the works of others, probably without authorization.

I seriously doubt he has permission to redistribute Orbx libraries.

So I chose to live without any of his work in my sim.

BTW, if you want to get an idea of what was left out of his sceneries add the following two entries to the [sCENERY] section of your FSX.cfg...

MissingLibraryAlert=1

ShowMissingTextureAlert=1

...and get ready to hit your Enter key,....many times.

I live in a Hispanic neighborhood and I like to show the kids their parents home town AP .

Trying this next

"You would have to put all of the scenery .bgl files in one folder and all of the textures in the paired texture folder."

"The other option would be to put all of his textures in ...\FSX\Texture, which I would not recommend."

Nope! I learned that lesion some time ago (2004)

"I do not trust his installers."

I always install to a temp folder

Thanks for heads up.
