Does REX4 Textures & Land Class Sceneries Migrate?

Hi:

 

If I use the migration tool, will REX4 Textures, Land class sceneries, and Add On Sceneries transfer over from FSX?

It's a case by case basis. REX and others provide an installer for P3D.

 

Some add-ons PROHIBIT their use in P3D.

 

Some not only prohibit the use but build in protection against using them.

 

Some don't care and they either will or will not migrate

 

There are various lists here and elsewhere as to some titles that have been tested.

Answer: No

 

Reason: Can be established by asking in the REX forum.

Exceptions: Some might. Ask in the appropriate forum for the product and seek clarification on the practicalities and the EULA agreement.

 

Conclusion: If you stuff it up NO-ONE will help you sort it out and P3D nearly always needs a complete re-install to fix issues that relate to replacement of core files (or active anti-use measures).

 

Under NO circumstances expect the Migration Tool to replace research and compliance.
